Carolyn E. Saacke is a Managing Director in the Capital Markets group at NYSE Euronext. In this role, she advises private companies, private equity firms, venture capitalists and investment bankers on the exchange landscape, issues, NYSE initiatives and venue choice. Prior to joining NYSE Euronext in 2006, Carolyn had spent fourteen years on Wall Street, working in the investment banking units of Bear Stearns, Citigroup and Deloitte. She has represented public and private companies of all sizes in mergers & acquisitions, sales & divestitures, IPOs and follow-on equity offerings, high yield and high grade public debt offerings, private equity and debt placements, leveraged loans, convertible securities and derivatives. Her experience includes over $23.5 billion of completed advisory and over $30 billion of completed financing transactions. In addition, she has served as a corporate Vice President of Strategy and Finance for Cendant Corporation, focused on creating, developing and executing cross-divisional revenue opportunities within the travel space and defining the company’s long-term travel strategy.

Carolyn earned her MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and her BA in Economics from Cornell University’s College of Arts & Sciences. She resides in Manhattan.
